It was just about 1 year ago when Google announced 61 of the top 100 universities in the United States are leveraging Google Apps for Education. This week the Google Enterprise team announced 72 of the top 100 have now Gone Google. The Enterprise team also announced 7 of the 8 Ivy League Universities have Gone Google as well. These organizations are some of the most innovative places on earth so they need Apps that can keep up!
Google Apps for Education includes 25 GB inboxes, voice and video chat, excellent calendaring, realtime collaboration, file storage, and 10 person video conferencing across PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. How many enterprise employees have access to that much functionality? Not enough.
